Forbes Travel Guide has announced its awards for 2021
The Cipriani Hotel in Venice has earned a new Five-Star award from Forbes Travel Guide. Its history began in 1956, when founder, Giuseppe Cipriani, decided to create a haven for jet-set travelers near piazza San Marco, but at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Due to its strategic location on the island of Giudecca, the five-star property has always been a destination in its own right and continues even today to be chosen by glamour and movie stars and artists, who recognize it as their favorite place to stay in Venice.
“I am proud of the passion and dedication of our team, who work and strive every day to deliver the highest level of personalized, 5-star service that makes the Cipriani truly a unique place,” comments Robert Koren, senior vice president, Belmond Emea.
The Forbes Travel Guide award-winning properties were inspected prior to the pandemic and when regional restrictions allowed guests to travel safely.
“The results show the great resilience of the hospitality industry,” confirms Filip Boyen, ceo of Forbes Travel Guide. “During this unprecedented period, these successful properties were able to adapt and respond to numerous challenges while still maintaining the highest levels of service and ensuring the safety of both their guests and staff. We hope these properties will inspire travelers as they are ready to venture out on their next trips”.
