Puglia, an open-air film set, but not only. Among the great films shot in the region are “La vita davanti a sé” (Life in front of you), filmed in Bari with Sophia Loren, Golden Globe for the soundtrack by Laura Pausini, and the TV series aired in prime time on Rai1, Lolita Lobosco.
And it is precisely with a view to being a privileged location that the Puglia Village stands out. Following numerous requests to act as a set for films, TV commercials and music videos, it chose an international movie like Dakota, directed by Californian director Kirk Harris, for a full day of filming.
In Molfetta, Land of Fashion hosted the filming of the movie with some important American stars.
The cast of the movie, an adventure genre for kids, will be made up of the likes of Australian actress Abbie Cornish, already starring in the American productions Robocop, Limitless and in the 2018 TV series Jack Ryan, together with William Baldwin, recently awarded Best Actor at the Vegas Movie Awards for his performance in the film “Talk”, and Patrick Muldoon, eclectic Californian of Irish origin, who became famous for his role as Richard Hart in the famous serial Melrose Place, which opened up a respectable international career for him.
They are joined by Canadian star, Tim Rozon, and 11-year-old Lola Sultan, Dakota’s true star, who has already appeared in seven films with Hollywood’s biggest stars and is considered by critics to be one of the world’s most interesting young talents.
