Two events in one, to celebrate two of the city’s most important “business” cards: wine and flowers. From May 28 to 30, in conjunction with the Merano Flower Festival, the South Tyrolean city center will host a preview of the Merano Wine Festival, the annual November appointment with the excellence of world wines and gastronomy.
Merano Wine Festival will take place under the name of Naturae et Purae, an event dedicated to sustainability which will be addressed to a selected audience, staging a sensorial journey among aromas and scents of nature, matched to the purity of wine.
In compliance with the anti Covid-19 regulation will be respected the following rules: 5m² per person (producer, visitor, service staff), maximum 250 people per session, table length at least 5m, space between a table and the other minimum 1m, maximum 3 people for the management of the table, 3 visitors per table with the respect of minimum 1m of distance between them. The program of the event includes four distinct moments: Campania Felix – Blanc de Blanc (May 28/29, Kurhaus – Pavillon des Fleurs); Cult Enologist (May 28/29, Kurhaus – Kursaal); Catwalk Rosè, May 29/30, Kurhaus – Kursaal); Think Tank – Sustainability of the Wine Supply Chain (May 29, Digital Event).
Campania Felix – Blanc de Blanc will consist in a presentation and tasting of typical wine products from the various areas and zones of Campania. The focus will be on Campania’s whites and will be attended by Territories – Consortia – Companies. During Cult Enologist, there will be presentations and tastings of the best wines of 12-15 cult enologists of international fame, with products selected among 100 wineries. Catwalk Rosè will be a review within the review, dedicated to Rosè wines and bubbles, which will be attended by wineries representing Rosè wine consortia and bubbles. Finally, the theme of Think Tank will be the sustainability of the wine supply chain through a digital event on WineHunterhub, with the participation of Universities and Institutions.
Naturae et Purae 2021 will be integrated with the digital platform WineHunterhub (winehunterhub.com) to ensure greater visibility and a digital meeting space for producers, visitors, press and wine lovers.
