Friend in time of peace, companion in battle, partner in work and in sport. The third millennium is now asking the horse to take on a fascinating new challenge, always at man’s side. That of ambassador of Final Furlong, a vast and multifaceted network of companies whose objective is to the implementation of new opportunities for development and growth of the territory.
Horse Green Experience is a Final Furlong project that, through the figure of the horse declined in all its multiplicities, stimulates a virtuous economic vision that places authenticity, identity, history, art, culture and sport, in line with the European Union’s most recent guidelines.

An ambitious project that finds in the week “Rome international capital of horses” – which embraces the Gallop Derby at the Capannelle racecourse and the 88th Csio Roma – Piazza Di Siena – an important moment of conference between institutions and stakeholders in the international forum European Rural Experience,
organised in collaboration with Earth Academy, Federippodromi, Fise (Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports) and Fitetrec (Italian Federation of Equestrian Tourism).
The online meeting, scheduled for Saturday 22 May (the video will be released to the public on the emagazine media partner Italy&More, on the main thematic sites, social channels and YouTube), was attended by politicians, academics, presidents of sports federations, entrepreneurs, representatives of the world of associations and operators in the sector to offer a wide-ranging vision of the role of the horse as the driving force behind a new start in the name of ethical and eco-sustainable development.
“In our vision,” explains Maurizio Rosellini, CEO of Final Furlong, “the horse is in line with the current themes of sustainable growth, environmental protection, local development and improves the quality of life and the health of the population. It will also be the focus of European programmes to support the economic development of the areas concerned. The revival of rural economies and sustainable tourism through the involvement of young people are among the main objectives of Horse Green Experience project. The work of the Forum will be synthesised and collected in a “Manifesto” that will connote in substantial terms the future organisational path of the HGE project”.
On the strength of these values, the Horse Green Experience project took part in the European selection process, gaining EU Green Week and thus became the Event Partner of the international week of work.
