At the end of the summer, there is still a desire to extend one’s holidays, not only to visit new places, but to live one’s daily life differently. So taking a flexication becomes an alternative way of experiencing the mountains and approaching your stay.
Work or take lessons in smart mode and at the same time take a break, change of scenery with regenerating immersions in nature
The Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti in Ortisei, in the heart of Val Gardena, is interpreting the new trend in the best possible way and, with the start of the shoulder season, is offering the special Escursionisti in autunno (Hikers in Autumn) package, during which you can carry out your work or school activities and still be in contact with nature.
Biowatching experiences
Thanks to the new package, guests will be able to appreciate the geological and scenic peculiarities of the Dolomites with direct experiences through biowatching, an extension of birdwatching that leads to admiring nature in all its manifestations. Every day, the Adler sports team will organise excursions and guided tours, on foot or by bicycle – of varying levels – during which the aim will not only be to “walk to get there” (as in trekking), but to look at the spectacular biological diversity (animal and plant) of the Monti Pallidi (Pale Mountains), pausing to observe and photograph the many surprises that this unique landscape, a Unesco World Heritage Site, has in store.
The unmissable phenomenon of the enrosadira
At the beginning of autumn, for example, the “burning Dolomites” or “alpenglow” or, even better, “enrosadira” offers unique emotions. The Dolomite peaks “blush” at sunset: they turn from fiery orange to purple, to gradually give way to the deep blue of the night.
What the package includes
Two guided hikes of varying difficulty levels per day with guides Thaddäus and Pauli, guided mountain bike and e-bike tours with guides Verena and Alexander, lunch-bag for the hikes, where lunch is not possible in the mountain hut, and a healthy afternoon snack on the way back, free rental of rucksacks, poles and maps, individual hiking advice from the experienced Adler staff, 1 wine tasting and 1 cheese tasting per week.
