Restarting with tourism to get the economy moving again by enhancing the value of a land of a thousand landscapes and artistic, cultural, gastronomic, technological and historical riches.
This is the challenge to Covid launched by some of the over one hundred agencies in Emilia Romagna that have decided to commit themselves under the banner of the Movimento autonomo agenzie di viaggi italiane (Maavi, Autonomous movement of Italian travel agencies), set up at national level in October 2020 to create a network of operators in the sector.
Teamwork is more essential than ever to get a strategic sector of our country back om its feet.
The twelve Maavi operators in Emilia Romagna, with the strength of their professionalism based on a regular licence, liability insurance, a guarantee fund and experience gained through years of customer service, are now proposing a specific catalogue for incoming tourism that covers the entire panorama of beauty and opportunities for tourists.
From the carefree atmosphere of the Adriatic Riviera to the austere beauty of the ancient castles perched on the ridges, from the excellent food and wine to the monuments protected by Unesco, there is no corner of this region that does not deserve a visit.
Thanks to Maavi’s catalogue “Emilia Romagna, una regione tutta da vivere” (Emilia Romagna, a region waiting to be experienced), this can be done with the guarantee of a solid, serious and widespread organisation.
As Alessia Severi, Maavi delegate for Emilia Romagna, points out: “We are a team of travel agents, salespeople and other tourism operators, ready not only to work together, but also to cooperate together in order to restart and go back to dreaming and travelling, a team in which each protagonist is a reference point for the other operators”.
The organisation is open to new forces, in the spirit of teamwork: anyone wishing to join should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
