B&B Hotels, an international chain with more than 550 hotels in Europe, inaugurates the new B&B Hotel Bolzano in the city also known as the “Gateway to the Dolomites“, bringing the number of hotels in the country to 44, in line with the Group’s concept: “Only for everyone“.
The structure, which is the result of a virtuous operation of architectural redevelopment and urban renewal, is characterised by a strong green footprint, as it is the result of a conscious use of existing resources and a wise reuse of materials already available.
The new B&B Hotel Bolzano is the result of a major renovation of a building that had been out of use for about ten years.
The new B&B Hotel Bolzano is located in a fast-growing urban, natural and environmental landscape, in a strategic position from which it is easy to reach famous tourist destinations, including ski slopes, hiking trails and mountain lovers, famous museums and enchanting medieval castles.
For the Group, the renovation of the building represented a great opportunity to save the environment, reducing the consumption of resources, as well as reducing the amount of waste released into the environment, thanks to the use of existing materials from the old building. An exemplary model of reuse, recycling and “conscious” management of resources inspired by the concept of urban Mmning, which aims to use existing materials and urban waste as a source of energy. The new structure is therefore the result of an “integrated approach” that considers the residual environmental and technological performance of buildings as valuable; it also contributes to giving a circular vision to the building process, ensuring a sustainable use of resources.
“The new B&B Hotel Bolzano represents another important milestone in the expansion process of B&B Hotels in Italy. We are very proud to be able to offer our customers a new structure that is the result of a virtuous operation of restoration and recovery, which puts us in touch with the environment, drawing resources and inspiration from it,” said Valerio Duchini, President and CEO of B&B Hotels Italia.
