Enit Italian National Tourism Board has appointed Giuseppe Albeggiani as the new Ceo. The manager will complete a team composed by President Giorgio Palmucci and Sandro Pappalardo, an advisor representing Italian Regions.
“Our hardware is the territory and the cultural heritage. We must take advantage of the opportunities offered by major investments in digital software to make Italy the best place to visit in the world and for Italians too”, said Albeggiani.

Among the objectives indicated by the manager, there are the reorganization of company’s structure and the retraining of professionals in function of the investments in digital infrastructure foreseen by the Pnnr (i.e Italian Recovery Plan). Focus will be placed also on the diversification of the tools used for the promotion of the country, both abroad and within the domestic market. Least but not last, Enit is going to obtain the B Corp certification.
“The marketing experience formerly acquired by Albeggiani and his international experience will be a stimulus and will integrate the know-how already present in the Agency,” added the president of Italian National Tourism Board, Giorgio Palmucci.
