Inspiration, dissemination, sharing and training are the key words to increase professionalism, offers and services
Inspiration, dissemination, sharing and training: the Fondazione Arezzo Intour presents the Arezzo Destination Academy, the new project dedicated to tourism operators and those involved in territorial development, which aims to increase professionalism, offers and services.
A year after the start of the pandemic that has drastically changed people, habits and lifestyles, it is necessary to rethink, and then start again.
This is especially true in the world of tourism, where it is very difficult to establish what the new normality will be, and where tools and ideas are needed to inspire the design of future scenarios: new traveller needs, new trends and new purchasing behaviour must be met.
In order to support tour operators in this difficult phase, the Arezzo Destination Academy has already set up the Experience Design Laboratory, a course created to provide all the tools needed to build experiences.
The Academy will also deal with dissemination. Theme meetings will be organised to discuss trends and new tourism products in the area. One of the first topics will be digital detox.
There will also be multidisciplinary events organised through Open Day Labs, periodic appointments open to all and aimed at inspiring through the knowledge of success stories, good practices or meetings with personalities who have created new business models.
Also under consideration is the construction of a human library, a catalogue of people (as if it were a catalogue of books) where entrepreneurs of all kinds, grandmothers and grandfathers, and professionals can be freely “borrowed” for an hour and tell their story or their point of view in the name of sharing.
