The Municipality of Arzachena, in Sardinia, is launching the My Arzachena Turismo app to offer official information provided directly by the Arzachena Turismo staff on events, accommodation and services essential for enjoying a complete holiday in the destination.
The initiative is promoted by the Councillor for Tourism Cristina Usai in order to provide users with an accessible and intuitive tool with which to easily discover the wide range of tourist offerings in Arzachena, its seaside villages of Cannigione, Porto Cervo and Baja Sardinia, but also the resources of the hinterland.
In the foreground, useful information on Covid and Green Pass, notifications of the week’s events, descriptions of trekking routes, beaches, archaeological sites, or opportunities to visit small museums and installations
“The application complements the communication tools already available to the tourist office, which have been renewed this year, such as the official website and the new 50-page pocket brochure created as a guide to the beauty of the area to take with you when you return from holiday – says Cristina Usai -. The aim of our work is to showcase the area, but also companies and operators in the sector, providing details and geolocation. The content is updated daily. The next step is to involve entrepreneurs individually, and we will ask them to send us material to enrich the various sections they are interested in.
The app can be used on smartphones and tablets and can be downloaded for IOS and Android systems. It provides an overview of accommodation, catering and transport facilities, practical advice on roads and parking, alternative travel suggestions and unmissable places to visit during your stay in any season.
