A video for a city that is just waiting to be experienced in all its beauty. It’s Acqui Terme, the town located in Piedmont, known for its ancient thermal waters and the vineyards of Alto Monferrato, recognised in 2014 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Directed by Valerio Marcozzi and produced by the Municipality of Acqui Terme, the promo video “Acqui Terme, a show to be experienced” has recently been launched on the main social networks.
The video, which will be used for b2b targeted campaigns, opens with an aerial view of the city. The viewer will be soon catapulted into a succession of overwhelming images, until the final scene in which a young couple is drinking a glass of Brachetto D’Acqui Docg close to the Roman Arches.
In Acqui, the ruins of the Roman aqueduct that stand out along the course of the river Bormida witness the fact that water has always been the vital element of the city; today, a unique mix of wellness, art, culture, history, food&wine experience, charm and Italian hospitality makes the town a unique and captivating destination.
“The video is an invitation to discover our city – says Tourism Councillor Lorenza Oselin – We want to tell the story of the traditions and the most unusual experiences, bringing out the authenticity of Acqui Terme. It is a city to be completely immersed in, to be experienced. This video is part of a project to relaunch tourism, which includes the Destinazione Acqui Bonus for all tourists. The promotional spot will be a tool to make our city known as a tourist destination”.
And Valerio Marcozzi confirms: “John Fitzgerald Kennedy used to say: Don’t ask yourself what your country can do for you, ask yourself what you can do for your country. I have a lot of confidence in Acqui Terme and I believe that the future can only be better than the present”.
