Thanks to Visit Ferrara, many tourists have visited the cities of art, the nature reserves of the Po Delta Park, Comacchio and its coastline since last summer, taking advantage of the promotions, guided tours and varied opportunities offered by the consortium and its members.

Original tourist itineraries, excursions on two wheels in places where cycling is a cult and cycling tourism routes are increasingly organised, a new map available to travellers with many curiosities and unusual routes to experience the soul of Ferrara: these are just some of the new features that Visit Ferrara has made available to all tour operators and the many visitors who want to explore this eclectic and welcoming area of Emilia Romagna.

The aim is to make the province of Ferrara a tourist brand of excellence and to market an integrated offer that makes Ferrara and its territory an attractive destination all year round.

The new map, the “Free Map… to be a local”, which can be downloaded directly from the website or found in the facilities and activities that are part of the consortium, guides visitors on an unusual and engaging journey through Ferrara, Comacchio and the province.

Tourists can discover the curiosities and most unusual places to visit, but also speak like the locals, thanks to the amusing vocabulary with the most commonly used dialect words, and eat the local delicacies, thanks to the precious indications on typical dishes and products to taste.

The map, with clear and up-to-date maps, is divided into different areas – Ferrara, its province, Comacchio, the Comacchio coast – and contacts and information on all the tour operators belonging to the Visit Ferrara network are indicated.
