25th edition for the Cous Cous Fest, the international festival of cultural integration that brings together in San Vito Lo Capo different countries and cultures in the name of peace, exchange and multiculturalism. It will be a special edition that will take place from 16 to 25 September 2022 in San Vito Lo Capo, organised by the Feedback agency in partnership with the municipal administration, to celebrate this important anniversary.
“Twenty-five years is a birthday that is particularly close to my heart – said Giuseppe Peraino, mayor of San Vito Lo Capo – because I saw the birth of the festival as a first citizen. It will therefore be a special emotion for me to cross this milestone again as mayor of San Vito Lo Capo with an edition that we would like to remain in the history of the event”.
The slogan of the twenty-fifth edition will be ‘Love never stops’. Applications for the Cous Cous Championships will soon be available.
After a year of stop due to the pandemic and a 2021 edition in compliance with the limitations for the fight against Covid, “the festival wants to start again – explained Fabio Polisano, creative director of Feedback, who designed the new visual and the slogan of the event – focusing on love, feelings that, despite the current situation, continue to win and assert themselves and that, in the wake of the soul of the festival, cross borders, barriers, cultures”.
San Vito Lo Capo will once again host chefs from all over the world, guests and artists for ten days of appointments, cooking challenges, tastings and cultural meetings. The central moments of the event will always be the Cous Cous Championships, which compare Italian and international chefs. Paolo Marchi, creator and curator of Identità Golose, will guide the selections of participating chefs and juries of experts who will taste the competing dishes in San Vito Lo Capo to elect the winners.
